What is TicoRural?

TicoRural is a versatile platform enabling the creation of bookable experiences for global travelers. From guided tours to surf lessons and everything in between, suppliers can seamlessly reach customers through TicoRural or our extensive affiliates network.

Who can register?

Registration is open to all, whether you’re a large tour operator or a local expert offering a unique walking tour. Just ensure you’re 18 or older and compliant with the laws and regulations applicable in your operating region.

How do I receive payment?

TicoRural safeguards the customer’s deposit while you collect the remaining balance before or on the day of the trip. Choose your preferred payment method, whether it’s cash, credit card, or Paypal. If a customer breaches your cancellation policy, TicoRural transfers the full amount of the security deposit to you.

How do I confirm a booking?

Upon a customer’s trip request, you’ll promptly receive notifications via text, email, and the TicoRural app. Customize your notification preferences in the Vendor Manager. Respond within 24 hours to accept or decline the booking through messages or TicoRural Vendor Manager.

How can I communicate with the customer?

Utilize our Instant Messaging service for swift, secure communication with customers. Answer queries before they book, and continue chatting after the booking via email or phone.

How does TicoRural generate revenue?

TicoRural earns a commission from each completed booked trip. You have control over your commission rate, ranging from 10% to 30%. The rate aligns with the deposit you set while listing your business and influences your ranking on TicoRural.

Do I have to sell products?

No obligation to sell!  Upon creating your account, you automatically get a listing, and updates are at your discretion through the Management Center.
Sales will come from our affiliate’s network as well throughy TicoRural.

What happens in case of bad weather?

Safety first! You maintain full control over bad weather cancellations, ensuring your listing remains unaffected. If you need to cancel due to bad weather, even last minute, customers receive a full refund, and TicoRural does not retain any money.

Use the regular registration form on main menu.
You now are regular TicoRural User.

Activate your Account

Activate your account in the mail you received and then. be sure you are logged in.
